Clare Skills Mapping

Clare is leading the charge by mapping the skills and talent of the region for increased employment opportunities and to attract new business

Clare County Council has launched a new initiative in partnership with Irish technology company, Abodoo, aimed at mapping the talent and skills of those living and working in Clare.  The Skills Map is designed to add value to Clare's economy, create new jobs and stimulate economic growth. It connects residents to employers hiring remotely or on-location. And helps local government identify the skills and talent needed for County Clare to grow and prosper.

The Talent Mapping Technology will provide ongoing anonymised data analysis of the skills in Clare, both for persons residing here, as well as the diaspora or those working remotely wishing to relocate to a setting with equal access to urban and rural life, and which allows for improved work life balance. The data provided to Clare County Council will not include personally identifiable information, but it will capture key data points such as skills and location.

The Process

Those who sign up can opt to either:

  1. Register a full career profile and allow employers to contact them directly should they wish or
  2. Simply add their skills and talent to the county-wide map to allow for better opportunities and be a part of your future in creating jobs in Clare.

Your personal data is secure. Anyone over 18 can register. It's FREE!
