Clare Local Area Grant Scheme 2023

The Clare Local Area Grant Scheme supports community and voluntary groups wishing to undertake specific projects under the relevant categories of the scheme. The purpose of the council’s Clare Local Area Grant Scheme is to encourage and assist community and voluntary groups to take an active part in the development of their communities and to improve the quality of life experience in their areas.  
Clare Local Area Grant Scheme 2023 (previously known as the Community Support Scheme) 

The Clare Local Area Grant Scheme 2023 is available to community and voluntary groups wishing to undertake specific projects under the relevant categories of the scheme. 

The purpose of the Council's Clare Local Area Grant Scheme 2023 is to encourage and assist community and voluntary groups to take an active part in the development of their communities and to improve the quality of life experience in their areas.

Apply for the Clare Local Area Grant Scheme

In order to support Community Groups/Organisations who may wish to apply for funding, the following walk-in information clinics will be held across the County at the following locations and times:

  • Tuesday 17th January
    • Pavilion Community Hall, Lisdoonvarna 10:00a.m. - 1:00p.m.  
    • Scariff MD Office, Scariff  – 10:00a.m. - 1:00p.m.  
    • Corofin Community Hall, Corofin 2:00p.m. - 5:00p.m.
    • Cnoc na Gaoithe, Tulla Comhaltas Cultural Centre, Tulla, 2:00p.m. - 5:00p.m.
  • Thursday 19th January   Oakwood Arms Hotel,  Shannon 10:00a.m. - 1:00p.m.  
    • Buttermarket Civic Room, Ennis 2:00p.m. - 5:00p.m.
    • Kilrush Hub, Kilrush 10:00a.m. - 1:00p.m.  
    • Lissycasey Community Hall, Lissycasey 2:00p.m. - 5:00p.m.
