Modern Portraits II – Exhibition by Brian O’Shaughnessy

The Gallery at Clare Museum will host an exhibition by Brian O’Shaughnessy , a native of Tuamgraney now residing in O’Briensbridge. Having studied Art in Limerick College of Further Education, Brian has taken part in both solo and group exhibitions.
Brian O’Shaughnessy born in 1965 attended Tuamgraney National School where he first became interested in drawing. Brian went on to attend Scarriff Community College and continued with his drawing. In 2009, he applied to and was accepted on the Art and Design course at Limerick College of Further Education where he successfully completed FETAC levels 5 and 6 in 2010 and 2011. Over the years Brian has exhibited in galleries in Scariff, Kilkee and Ennis and he took part in a group exhibition in Limerick. Indeed, this latest exhibition, Modern Portraits II, follows on from successful exhibitions in Ennis and Scariff earlier this year.
For the past two years Brian has concentrated on original works of art and portratirure in particular which form this exhibition. He is a member of Visual Artists Ireland
