Clare County Council has secured funding from the Department of the Environment, Climate and Communications under the Anti-Dumping Initiative to run a Household Hazardous Waste Amnesty, where the public are invited to dispose of hazardous household waste free of charge by bringing it to the Central Waste Management Facility, Inagh.

Representatives of Clare County Council and Fáilte Ireland have joined with members of the local community in Ennistymon to mark the successful completion of a Destination Towns initiative that has significantly enhanced the public realm and the visitor experience in the North Clare town.
