Section 38 proposed traffic calming measures at Church Street/ Old Road Clarecastle
Notice is hereby given that Clare County Council, pursuant to Section 38 of the Road Traffic Act 1994, propose to install Traffic Calming Measures at Church Street / Old Road, Clarecastle, County Clare.
The works shall involve:-
- Provision of table top junction
- Adjustment to priority of junction
- Provision of parking
- Realignment of kerblines
- Provision of new footways
- Provision of uncontrolled crossings
- Provision of bus stop
- Removal and planting of trees and shrubs
- Provision of associated signing and road markings
- Provision of additional drainage
- Adjustment to existing services and ancillary works.
Plans and particulars of the proposed scheme are available for inspection below until Monday 22nd April 2024.
Objections or representations in relation to the proposals may be made in writing to Administrative Officer, Clare County Council, Roads and Transportation Department, Áras Contae an Chláir, New Road, Ennis, Co. Clare before 4:00 p.m. on Monday 22nd April 2024.
