Proposed temporary road closure R488 at Carrigaholt Bridge
Notice is hereby given in accordance with Section 75 of the Roads Act 1993 of Clare County Council’s intention to close the road detailed hereunder for the period stated to facilitate an enhancement and connection of the water mains along the exterior wall of the bridge.
Road to be closed:
R488, Carrigaholt Bridge, Carrigaholt, Co.Clare
Date and time of closure:
From 08:00, Tuesday 25th March 2025 to Tuesday 25th March 2025 at 18:00
Alternative routes / diversions;
Diversion along the R487 South Bound and take a left onto the L-2004 road into Carrigaholt Village and visa-versa from opposite direction. A diversion route map is attached below.
