Clare County Council is urging dog owners to take responsibility and clean up after their dogs.
Clare County Council is encouraging the people of County Clare to get involved in National Heritage Week 2019 by organising an event in their community to showcase their local natural and cultural heritage.
Clare County Council and the Clare Local Community Development Committee (LCDC) are inviting applications for a programme which provides funding to communities in Ireland.
At its April Monthly Meeting this evening (Monday, 08 April 2019), Clare County Council marked the 120th anniversary of the first ever meeting of the Local Authority which took place in the Grand Jury Rooms of Ennis Courthouse on 22 April 1899.
The Local Elections 2019 will take place on the 24th May, 2019. Polling stations will be open from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. A total of 51 candidates will contest the election.
A candidate may nominate himself or herself or may, with the candidate’s consent, be nominated by a proposer. A proposer must be registered as a local government elector in the local electoral area of the local authority for which he or she proposes to nominate the candidate.
A new three-year strategy aimed at improving physical and mental health in County Clare was launched today (Friday, 29 March 2019) at glór, Ennis, by Minister of State for Health Promotion, Catherine Byrne, T.D., and Mayor of Clare, Councillor Michael Begley.
Work on a new Clare County Council social housing development comprising 8 residential units, site development works and services will commence in Roslevan in late April.
