Proposed Section 38 trafffic calming measurs R471 Bóthar Mór, Shannon
Notice is hereby given that Clare County Council, pursuant of Section 38 of the Road Traffic Act 1994, propose to install the following traffic calming measures:
On the R471 Bóhar Mór, at the junction with the L3303-0, Ballycasey More, Shannon, Co.Clare.
Construction of a raised table with controlled pedestrian crossing, footpath buildout, cycle lane, installation of tactile paving, belisha beacons, all associated signs and road markings.
Plans and particulars of the proposed development is attached below and will be available until 29th April 2024.
Submissions and observations in relation to the proposals may be made in by email to roads@clarecoco.ie or in writing to Administrative Officer, Transportation Section, Clare County Council, Áras Contae an Chláir, New Road, Ennis, Co. Clare before 4:00 p.m. on Monday 29th April 2024.
