Shannon Town and Environs Local Area Plan 2012 - 2018 (As Amended)
The Shannon Town and Environs Local Area Plan 2012 - 2018 (as amended) sets out the land use plan for the proper planning and sustainable development of the settlement of Shannon and its environs. Hereunder the Shannon Town and Environs Local Area Plan 2012 - 2018 (as amended) shall be referred to as the local area plan. The local area plan was adopted on the 10th September 2012 by the elected members of Clare County Council and came into effect on the 8th October 2012. On the 12th June 2017 the elected members of Clare County Council resolved to defer the making of a new Shannon Local Area Plan for a period not exceeding 5 years i.e. up to September 2022.
