Temporary road closure L3148 & L7144 Clarecastle
Notice is hereby given in accordance with Section 75 of the Roads Act 1993 of Clare County Council’s decision to close the roads detailed hereunder for the period stated to facilitate the excavation of silt trenches to determine existing services.
Roads to be closed:
L3148 Deerpark and L7144 Manusmore
Date and time of closures:
Phase 1: L3148 Deerpark to the rail line - 3rd to 8th November 2025
Phase 2: L3148 Deerpark to Carrowmeer – 10th to 14th November 2025
Phase 3: L7144 to junction with R458 – 13th to 14th November 2025
Closures will be in place between 8:00 a.m. & 5:00 p.m. daily. Local access will be maintained with traffic management.
Alternative routes/diversions;
Phase 1: L7144, R458, M18, Latoon North L3148
Phase 2: L4114 Noughval – R469 -L7194 -L3184
Phase 3: L7144, R458, L3148
