Road Works Speed Limit Order within Ennis Municipal District
Notice is hereby given in accordance with Section 10 of the Road Traffic Act 2004 that Clare County Council intends to introduce a Temporary Road Traffic 30 km/hr and 20km/hr Speed Limit, by way of a Road Works Speed Limit Order within the Ennis Municipal District.
This involves the introduction of a 30 km/hr Temporary Speed Limit on the following roads;
From Carmody Street (E533445.560, N677417.567) to Woodquay (E533517.512,N677437.494)
From River Lane (E533558.988, N677438.696) to Fahys Lane (E533566.437, N677411.739)
From Cabeys Lane (E533604.227, N677437.666) From Parnell Street (E533604.839, N677444.102) to Wood Quay (E533517.512, N677437.494)
From Old Friary Lane (E533713.957, N677506.589) to Bank Place (E533737.890, N677530.112)
And the introduction of a 20 km/hr Temporary Speed Limit on the following roads;
Old Friary Lane from its junction with Bank Place (E533737.890, N677530.112) to Salt House Lane (E533703.435, N677507.026)
From Salthouse Lane (E533703.435, N677507.026) along High Street to its junction with O'Connell Square (E533773.069,N677489.593)
Bank Place from its junction with O'Connell Square (E533772.182, N677507.219) to its junction with Old Friary Lane (533742.466, N677528.482)
Abbey Street from its junction with Brewery Lane (E533797.041, N677521.053) to its junction with O'Connell Square (E533789.978, 677514.653)

This Road Works Speed Limit Order will remain in place for a period 12 months from 29th November 2025 to 28th November 2026.
