Proposed temporary road closure to facilitate Quest Lough Derg Event 2025
Notice is hereby given in accordance with Section 75 of the Roads Act 1993 of Clare County Council’s intention to close the roads detailed hereunder for the period stated to facilitate the Quest Lough Derg Event.
Roads to be closed:
L-4128, L-8200 at Carrownakilly, L-82021 at Ballycuggaran, also the public parking bays at the North side of the Twomilegate Car Park. Local residents access only.
Date and time of closures:
Saturday 13th September 2025 from 06:00 a.m. to 14:00 p.m.
Alternative routes / diversions;
Traffic shall be diverted northbound on the R-463 to the L-8198 and back onto the L-4128 – a map is attached below.
Objections / representations may be made by email to roads@clarecoco.ie or in writing before 4:00 p.m. on Friday 29th August 2025 to;
