Proposed temporary road closure at Knockalisheen Road
Notice is hereby given in accordance with Section 75 of the Roads Act 1993 of Clare County Council’s intention to close the road detailed hereunder for the period stated to facilitate the construction of the Coonagh to Knockalisheen Distributor Road Project. The following road closures will take place between November 2025 and June 2026.
Road to be closed:
Knockalisheen Road from Knockalisheen Roundabout to the junction at Moyross Avenue. (local access only)
Date and time of closure:
Friday 28th November 2025 to Monday 29th June 2026 – 24 hour closure
Alternative routes / diversions;
Motorists are advised to divert via the Coonagh to Knockalisheen distributor road, route maps are attached below.
