Declaration of Public Roads under Section 11 Roads Act, 1993.
In accordance with the provision of the Roads Act, 1993 Clare County Council HEREBY GIVES NOTICE of its intention to consider the making of a Declaration that the roads listed hereunder become public roads.
The said roads are depicted on a map which can be inspected during office hours, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the Planning Department, Áras Contae an Chláir, New Road, Ennis, Co. Clare. Clare County Council proposes to take in charge the said roads and pursuant to the provision of Section 180(4) of the Planning and Development Act 2000, as amended, where an Order under Section 11 has been made, the Council proposes to then take in charge the services and public open spaces within the areas highlighted in red as shown on the map, excluding private areas.

Description of road
Road from its junction with the public road - N85, to the terminal point within the estate, serving the following house no's: 1-43 Shanacloon, 1-29 Cloonbeg, 1-22 Clonea, 1-60 Moyard, Shanballa, Lahinch Road, Ennis, Co Clare. Road coloured yellow on Map No. 2024-1005-01.
A map showing these roads may be inspected between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Monday to Friday in the Planning Department, Áras Contae an Chláir, New Road, Ennis, Co. Clare or may be downloaded below.
Objections or representations with regard to the declaration may be made in writing and must be received no later than 4:00 p.m. on 4th March 2024 to the:
