There will be temporary modifications to the taxi rank and existing parking at Parnell Street Car Park starting from the morning of Monday, 31st August, and continuing until Friday, 4th September.
Clare County Council wishes to inform the public that new pavement overlays will be carried at two locations within the Killaloe Municipal District from 8am to 6pm daily inclusive as follows.
Clare County Council and Tipperary County Council have commenced the preparation of a Killaloe - Ballina Town Enhancement and Mobility Plan. The plan will facilitate a coordinated approach to public realm enhancements within Killaloe and Ballina, providing a clear vision for Killaloe and Ballina as linked settlements. Specific measures, designs and schemes will promote the towns’ complementarity, and create an overall focus on their joint strengths and opportunities in terms of functionality, aesthetics and the changing transport and mobility profile of the towns as a result of the future Killaloe Bypass and Shannon bridge crossing.
Clare County Library is delighted to welcome you back to a number of our libraries for Phase 3 re-opening on Monday, 29th June.
The branch libraries opening to the public are DeValera Library, Ennis, Kilrush Library, Miltown Malbay Library and Ennistymon Library. More branches will re-open in the coming weeks.

Clare County Library service will commence the national phased re-opening of libraries by providing a contact and collect service from Monday, 8th June. Members of the public can contact a number of branches throughout the county to order library items and will then be able to collect from the library at a designated time at the front door of libraries. This service is available for all library members.
Clare Museum is to take part in this year’s celebration’s for International Museum Day on 18th May.This event is celebrated in museums across the world and will resonate even more so this year as people from all communities face the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic.The theme of this year’s International Museum’s Day is ‘Museums for Equality: Diversity and Inclusion’.
