Minister for Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media, Catherine Martin TD, and Minister of State for Sport and Gaeltacht Affairs, Jack Chambers TD, together with Sport Ireland, have announced almost €80 million for the sport sector under two separate support programmes.

Members of Whitegate Community Council and Clare County Council met on Friday, 19th November, in a socially distanced manner to review and celebrate the conservation works recently completed at the 12th century monastic complex in Clonrush, Whitegate.
Following intense discussions, Clare County Council has adopted its revenue budget for 2022.
The revenue budget provides for expenditure of €138.7m, an increase of €7.3m over the previous year. Housing and Roads combined represent 44% of this allocation.
Clare County Council has won a Chambers Ireland 2021 Excellence in Local Government (ELG) Award for an initiative to restructure its four Municipal Districts (MDs) of Ennis, Killaloe, Shannon and West Clare.
Members of the public are being invited to view the draft Shannon Town Centre Masterplan, which will be on public display from Monday, 22nd November, until Monday, 20th December.
