Over 600 school students in County Clare have learned about the important role they can play in tackling the biodiversity crisis thanks to a new programme of educational workshops.
Clare County Council is delighted to welcome the announcement by the Minister for the Environment, Climate and Communications, Eamon Ryan TD, of a new Community Climate Action Fund which is being made available to organisations and community groups interested in developing projects and initiatives which relate to the challenge of addressing climate change.
ECONNECTING is an international network of cities financed by the European URBACT IV program which aims to develop new sustainable mobility strategies between urban and rural areas, putting the environmental and social sustainability of transport at the centre.
