Learn how to draw a beautifully detailed Irish Hare step-by-step. As part of National Drawing Day, Clare artist Marie Connole taught a remote drawing class on 16th May. You can still view this online. It's perfect for beginners and experienced artists of any age. Marie’s teaching combines easy to follow instructions with stories and folklore to enliven your imagination.
All you need is a pencil, a rubber, a piece of paper, and yourself. Marie suggests using three pencils (Light 2H, Medium 2B, and Dark 6B) if possible, but not required.
Marie Connole is a visual artist, illustrator and teacher based in Co. Clare, Ireland. Her studio practice combines drawing, painting, installation, and animation. She works through highly personal thematic content involving storytelling, the subconscious, and the natural world. You can find out more about Marie and her work here: http://www.marieconnole.com/
