Proposed temporary road closure Quay Road Clarecastle

Notice is hereby given in accordance with Section 75 of the Roads Act 1993 of Clare County Council’s intention to close the road detailed hereunder for the periods stated in connection with works on the Clarecastle Sewerage Scheme.

Road to be closed:

Quay Road, Clarecastle, Co. Clare

Date & times of closures:

From 29th August 2022 to 16th December 2022.  Works will be carried out on a phased basis.  Traffic management and further phasing details are attached below.

Access for Residents

Residents will be allowed access on whichever road the contractors are not working on as shown in the Phased drawings.  One of the roads will always be open. The contractors will liaise with the residents regarding access and parking.

Due to the layout of the road it is not possible to provide a diversion.

Emergency Access

Emergency Access will be maintained.
