Proposed Section 38 traffic calming measures on the N67 & R482 Spanish Point
Notice is hereby given that Clare County Council, pursuant to the provisions of Section 38 of the Road Traffic Act 1994, propose to install the following traffic calming measures:
N67 and R482 at Dough, Leagard South & Breaffy South in Spanish Point, Co. Clare
The construction of footpaths and pedestrian crossings from Lahiff’s Caravan & Camping Park and south along a section of the R482 regional road to connect to the Bellbridge House Hotel. This incorporates new kerbs, dropped kerbs, tactile paving, drainage pipes & gullies, relocation of poles & other existing services, public lighting, road reinstatement, bollards and pedestrian crossings including a controlled pedestrian crossing adjacent to the golf club on the R482 regional road.
Plans and Particulars for the above development are attached below and are available until Tuesday 24th May 2022.
Objections or representations in relation to the proposals may be made by email to roads@clarecoco.ie or in writing to the Administrative Officer, Transportation Department, Clare County Council, Áras Contae an Chláir, New Road, Ennis, Co. Clare before 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, 24th May 2022.
