Proposal to Declare a Private Road at Islandmagrath, Clarecastle, to be a Public Road

Notice is hereby given pursuant to Section 11 Subsection (1) (b) (iii) of the Roads Act 1993 that Clare County Council proposes to declare the above-mentioned road to be a Public Road.

Description:  The road proposed for consideration for Taking In Charge is located in the Townland of Islandmagrath, Clarecastle, Co. Clare and abuts the L8250-0. The Section of road is from a point 110 metres North of the junction with the L8250-0 shown X on the map (534575E, 670864N) to a point 120 metres South of the junction with the L8250-0 shown Y on the map (534518E, 670642N). The section of road is approximately 230 metres long with an average width of 3.0 metres.

A map indicating the road to be taken in charge is available for inspection during normal office opening hours by interested members of the public for a period of one month up to and including 21st December 2018 at the Roads and Transportation Department, Áras Contae an Chláir, New Road, Ennis, Co. Clare.

Objections or submissions with respect to the proposal to declare the road to be a public road may be made, in writing, up to 4th January 2019 to the:
