Bridge Rehabilitation works at Bank Place, Inghid, Inagh and Inch
The following is an update on bridge rehabilitation projects organised by Clare County Council’s Road Design Office.
Bank Place Bridge aka. Carroll’s Bridge, Ennis:
Works are complete on the repair to the bridge beams/parapets and the deck has been resurfaced.
Inghid Bridge on the L 4120 north of Crusheen:
Repair works are continuing on the two span masonry arch bridge including piers and approach walls. Works are due to be complete by the end of November.
A traffic management plan and traffic signals are in place.
Inagh Bridge on the R460 in Inagh:
Repairs have commenced on the three span masonry arch bridge and are due to be completed within three weeks. A traffic management plan is in place.
Inch Bridge on the R474 east of Inch:
A Road Closure will be required to allow repair of Inch Bridge parapet wall.
Repair to the damaged parapet wall will be commencing on the 3rd December 2018. A diversion route along the L4164/L4188/L4230 Local roads will be sign posted for the duration of the works. Variable message signs will be in place indicating the closure dates of the 3rd to 7th December.
