Public Consultation West Clare Railway Greenway between Kilrush and Kilkee

Clare County Council is beginning to progress the Route Selection for Section 1 of the West Clare Railway Greenway between Kilrush and Kilkee.
The purpose of this public consultation is to invite submissions from the public and interested stakeholders regarding the initial route options. This information will be used by the design team to further refine the route options with a view to minimising, where possible, the impacts of the project on the surrounding environment and communities. Following this, a detailed appraisal of the options will be undertaken, and the preferred route option will be identified.
Due to the COVID-19 restrictions, Public Consultation 1 will take place Online from Monday 13th September 2021 to Monday 04th October 2021
The below documents will also be on display at the following three locations from the 13th of September for 3 weeks:
- Kilrush Public Library, O’Gorman Street, Kilrush, Co. Clare
- Sweeney Memorial Library, O’Connell Street, Kilkee, Co. Clare
- Clare County Council, Áras Contae an Chláir, New Road, Ennis, Co. Clare
