Switching on of Christmas Lights

As the turning on of the Christmas Lights was a huge success last year, a similar experience is planned for this year including arrival of Santa Claus, face painting, snow machine etc. 

Lights will be switched on by Mayor of Ennis MD Cllr Johnny Flynn, Eimear Considine (aka “The Eimearnator”) and 2 pupils representing Senior Infants, Holy Family Jnr School. 

In an effort to limit any potential impact on business’ in the O’Connell Square area festivities will commence at the slightly later time of 5:00 p.m., with the switch-on planned for 6:00 p.m.
