Clare County Council does not provide a waste collection service. If you need to arrange waste collection, you should contact a permitted waste collector. Use the search facility below to find a permitted waste collector.
In order to collect and/or transport waste the collector/transporter must hold a valid waste collection permit. Otherwise the collector and the householder/business proprietor using the collector to dispose of their waste will be liable to prosecution under the Waste Management Act, 1996, as amended.
All waste collection permit applications and applications for review of waste collection permits are processed by the National Waste Collection Permit office (NWCPO).
