Clare in Bloom

Clare in Bloom is targeted at local groups who are actively involved in the improvement and enhancement of their areas.

The award criteria for the competition will include; visual impact, range of planting, litter control and waste management, community involvement, energy initiatives and overall impression and the following population categories will apply:

  • Category 1: Population in excess of 700
  • Category 2: Population between 300 and 700
  • Category 3: Population less than 300

The competition is currently supported by a number of major firms from the business community in the county and a generous prize fund is available again this year. The application form is available to download below:

Closing date for receipt of applications is 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, 31st May, 2017.

The period for judging is July to mid August.

The award criteria for the competition will include:

  • Community involvement
  • Energy initiatives and overall impression
