Proposed Temporary Road Closure of the N67 from Farrihy to Doonmore, Doonbeg

Notice is hereby given in accordance with Section 75 of the Roads Act 1993 of Clare County Council’s intention to temporarily close the following road detailed hereunder for the period stated in order to carry out water main replacement and surface overlay works.

Road to be closed:

The N67 from the junction at Farrihy, through Bealaha Village to the junction at Doonmore, Doonbeg.

Alternative routes/ diversion:

  • Traffic from Kilkee and South West Clare to divert via the N67 through Kilkee and Kilrush, Northbound, R483 via Cooraclare to Creegh and then Westbound, R484 to Doonbeg.
  • Traffic from Quilty & North Clare directions to divert via the R483 to Kilrush and Westbound via the N67.
  • Local access will be maintained at all times.

Date and time of closures:

24 hour closure from 25th February 2019 to 8th April 2019
