Proposal to declare a private road to be a public road at Station Court, Lahinch

Notice is hereby given pursuant to Section 11 Subsection (1) (b) (iii) of the Roads Act 1993 that Clare County Council proposes to declare the above-mentioned road to be a Public Road.

Description:   The road proposed for consideration for taking in charge exists to serve the Station Court Estate, Lahinch and it connects with the L-1086 Station Road.  The section of road is approximately 400m in length & has an average road width of 8.0m including public footpath.

This is not a through road; it exists to serve the Station Court Estate, two private dwelling houses and a caravan park.

A map indicating the road to be taken in charge is available for inspection during normal office opening hours by interested members of the public for a period of one month up to and including 6th April 2020 at the Roads and Transportation Department, Áras Contae an Chláir, New Road, Ennis, Co. Clare or online at www.clarecoco.ie

Objections or submissions with respect to the proposal to declare the road to be a public road may be made, in writing, up to 20th April 2020 to the:
