Extension to temporary road closure O'Connell Street from Old Barrack Street junction to Carmody Street junction
Notice is hereby given in accordance with Section 75 of the Roads Act 1993 of Clare County Council’s decision to extend the closure of the road detailed hereunder for the period stated to facilitate the excavation of existing footpaths and carriageway surface, new and replacement of underground services and utilities, replacing of existing public lighting columns and lanterns with new columns and lanterns, Replacing footpaths, resurfacing of existing carriageway surfaces with natural stone and asphalt, new signage and road markings.
Road to be closed:
O’ Connell Street Ennis, from Old Barrack Street junction to Carmody Street junction.
Date and time of extended closure:
From 26th April 2024 until 7th June 2024 - 24 Hour Closure.
Alternative routes / diversions.
There will be no through access to Carmody Street from O’Connell Street. Follow diversion signs in place.
