There is one thing that you may not have thought about because, mostly, here in Ireland, we don’t like to and that is planning for what happens after you go or when, for some reason, you are no longer in a position to make or describe your plans for the future.

That’s why, with financial support from the Community Fund for Ireland, and in association with the Irish Hospice Foundation, Clare Older People’s Council will be hosting a seminar called “Putting the House in Order.”

This event is about planning for what you wish to happen at the end of life.  It covers introductory information on wills, enduring power of attorney etc. and also features a presentation by the Irish Hospice Foundation on the "Think Ahead" Form.  Please note that this is primarily an information and planning session, it is not about bereavement or bereavement counseling.

Admission is free, however places are limited so booking is essential, by telephoning Helen on (065) 6846240 or email: hmoloney@clarecoco.ie.  The venue does not accept bookings.

Please advise of any special dietary requirements at the time of booking as a light lunch will be provided.
