Draft Clare County Development Plan 2011-2017

Notice is hereby given, pursuant to Part II, Section 12 of the Planning and Development Acts 2000 to 2007, that Clare County Council has prepared a Draft Clare County Development Plan 2011 - 2017 for the functional area of Clare County Council.
Pursuant to the Planning and Development (Strategic Environmental Assessment) Regulations 2004 and Article 6 of the Habitats Directive (92/43/EEC), Clare County Council has prepared a Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA) (Draft Environmental Report) and a Habitats Directive Assessment (Draft Screening Report) of the Draft Clare County Development Plan 2011 - 2017.

Copies are also available for inspection at
- Áras Contae and Chláir, New Road, Ennis, Co. Clare (excluding Bank Holidays) between the hours of 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. from Monday 25th January 2010 to Tuesday 6th April, 2010 (both dates inclusive)
and at the following Clare Local Authorities' offices during normal working hours from Monday 25th January 2010 to Tuesday 6th April, 2010 (both dates inclusive)

A copy of the Draft Clare County Development Plan 2011-2017 may be purchased at Áras Contae and Chláir, New Road, Ennis, Co. Clare. The Draft Development Plan comprises the following draft documents
- Volume 1 Written Statement €25
- Volume 2 Maps €25
- Volume 3 SEA, Habitats Directive Assessment, Strategic Flood Risk Assessment €25
- Volume 4 Record of Protected Structures €25
- Volume 5 Wind Energy Strategy €25
The Draft Development Plan comprising Volumes 1 to 5 are also available on CD at a total cost of €10.
Submissions or observations
Submissions or observations (2 copies) regarding the Draft Clare County Development Plan 2011 – 2017 may be made in writing to the Forward Planning unit, Planning Land Use and Transportation, Clare County Council, Áras Contae an Chláir, New Road, Ennis, Co. Clare from Monday 25th January 2010 to Tuesday 6th April, 2010.
Alternatively, submissions or observations may also be emailed to forwardplan@clarecoco.ie or may be faxed to (065) 6892071. Submissions made via email must include the full name and address of the person making the submission. (Maximum document size by e-mail: 5MB)
Please make your submission by one medium only i.e. hard copy, email or fax.
The closing date for receipt for submissions is 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday 6th April, 2010.
Written submissions or observations with respect to the Draft Development Plan made to the Planning Authority within the stated period will be taken into consideration before the making of the plan.
